Huma-Air External First Stage Tuning Regulator For The FX Impact MKI and MKII
This First Stage Tuning Regulator built by Huma-Air allows you to convert your FX Impact MKI or MKII into a Dual Stage regulator system similair to the current FX Impact M3 regulator system that is described by FX as below:
“The first regulator pre-reduces the pressure in preparation for the second regulator. This provides less stress on the second regulator and achieves a more constant output pressure with less standard deviations. Advised is to use about 30-40 BAR difference between the 1st & 2nd regulator.”
The dual stage regulator will function as the first stage regulator.
It is equipped with a 23 mm 300 Bar pressure gauge with white dial as standard; this gauge will indicate the fill pressure of the bottle. Optionally you can select different pressure gauges in terms of pressure, diameter and color, with or without black tactical cover. The gauge can be aligned stepless into it’s position so it always looks good on your rifle.
Available gauges:
- 23 mm, 300 bar gauge with white dial
The original foster male quick connect coupler of the rifle will be replaced by an included blind plug and the foster male fill coupler from your impact will be re-used in the regulator. The position of the gauge and and foster can be chosen left or right.
When the regulator is fitted to the rifle you can read the primary fill pressure of the bottle on the regulator’s pressure gauge. The first stage regulator output pressure can be read on the factory gauge (previously used as fill pressure gauge) and the second regulator output pressure can be read on the original FX regulator pressure gauge.
Pressure can be set by turning the set-screw of the regulator, which can be found inside the regulator, half a turn counter clockwise equals about 25-30 bar pressure increase. The set pressure can also be read on the rifle’s pressure gauge.
This first Stage Tuning Regulator will be screwed in between the pressure bottle and the action of the FX Impact. The pressure bottle can be screwed on- or off the rifle without depressurizing the rifle.
The first stage regulator will ad only 31 mm of length. Please check if it does not interfere if you use a 580 CC bottle or larger after market silencer.
The regulator can be fitted easily with no modifictions to the rifle. You just need to unscrew the FX bottle connector out of the action and replace it with the regulator.

Pressure settings of the Huma-Air First Stage Use Bottle Regulator For The FX Impact
Your first stage tuning regulator comes preset on the pressure we have tesed it and it is marked on the packing. You can set the regulator according to your wishes within the pressure range.
The output pressure will be shown on the factory pressure gauge of your airrifle.
The Huma-Air first Stage Regulator regulator comes in a wide pressure range of 60-220 bar output covering sub 12 ft/lbs and FAC models.
